"There is no equivalent in France to this personal novel, in the lineage running from Alice to The Little Prince, from Robinson to Gulliver. Robert Sabatier wrote it thinking that little Olivier from The Swedish Matches would have liked to read it.
It comes as an intermission in the latter's story, and the discovery of summer, the most secret aspirations of men begin to live for the pleasure of today's reader who has managed to keep the blissful recourse to the wonder and delight of childhood."
Very beautiful first edition, perfectly bound, and inscribed.
